As part of my role with New York Public Radio’s WQXR, I helmed the planning, writing, curating, and publishing of all social media content. When I started working with the station, one of the digital team’s main goals was to grow the brand’s Instagram audience. I immediately set to work in my quest to make classical music accessible to a wider audience, and found success in producing educational, relatable, and all-around welcoming content. In just four months, we saw growth across all of WQXR’s social platforms—including a 30.8% increase in its Instagram audience.
