In 2024, I hiked from Georgia to Maine. 


And thus began my love for long-distance backpacking.

I wrote about my experiences on trail for The Trek. In my blogs, I shared stories ranging from the time a tree nearly fell on me, to what it’s like to have a period in the backcountry. I documented my experiences with the people I met on trail and those “magic in the in-between” moments that make thru-hiking so meaningful.

My published works received thousands of pageviews and continue to receive positive engagement. In 2024, The Trek named me an Appalachian Trail Trek Blogger to Follow, and sought my contributions along the journey. In 2025, I connected my steps through the foothills of Southern Appalachia by hiking the Pinhoti Trail through Alabama and Georgia. I have aspirations to continue my steps to Canada, then pursue the Triple Crown of American thru-hiking.
